What's New:
April 2008:
-
update Vintage FAI Power Rules dated March 20, 2008
coming soon in May:
These new things are
mostly in hand, the material itself is in it's final digital form, now it
is just a matter of presentation. A major change to my thinking
about this presentation has delayed their addition to the website.
Here is what happened: As the site grew, I initially took a path to
present models and pictures into groups of 10 years or decades. This
seemed to help matters a lot and break thing into managable
groups. As I was finishing up this major restructuring I
realized that it made more sense to restructure the site into Vintage and
Modern FAI Power sections that paralleled the rules evolution as
structured into the various Eras. I believe this is a better
path because many of the Vintage Eras overlap some of the decades.
Within these Vintage and Modern sections I will then further break things
down into the Eras. Things should be much easier to follow that way
when trying to look at models from a particular Era (and set of
rules) Thanks for your patience.

- re-vamped the Models
link into a Models Gallery also into groups of 10 years. This
re-vamped format now has links to low resolution mini-plans, high
resolution mini-plans, construction articles and pictures where possible.
This re-vamped format now also fits well into the Vintage and Modern FAI
Power pages, so now the presentations will be consistent. As the site
grows this also sets the groundwork for further organizational changes to
the presentation as they become necessary.
- re-organized the
Picture Gallery into groups of 10 years (by decades). This was
necessary as the number of models has grown.
